Monday morning
looking at sunrise
remembering when you were by my side
Surrendering
to the winds of change
and freedom's lonely fate
I'm learning to let go once again
We walked together
on crystal winter days
and melted snow drifts with the firey blaze
Of passion, learning 'bout love side by side
But inner whispers
said you had to go
You needed room to let some new dreams grow
And I'm learning to let go once again
Love has no boundaries
and I know I'm not alone
At the same time I just can't generate
the warmth you gave my home
I look at blue skies
and cotton ball clouds
I send my love to
wherever you are now
While I'm learning to let go once again
