Fool for You

Over and over
I'm running for cover
between the light and your subway stare
Over and over
hope to discover
the force that keeps me here
I could not be your yes man
couldn't do that dance
And I'll forego the bargain
that leaves me without my pants

But I'm a fool for you.....

Over and over
you're calling me Rover
Like a dog on a three foot chain
Over and over
a slave and a lover
I'm digging my own grave
The taste of you is poison
but sweetness on the lips
You always leave me empty
You have no life to give

But I'm a fool for you.....

If I could just remember
the lies you freely told
You set me up in a crossfire
You left me out in the cold

But I'm a fool for you.......
